Who is Delia?

On April 5, 2011, a baby was born with limited limbs in Rural Romania. Her mother left the hospital that day without her. Baby Delia became an orphan on the day she was born. In January 2012, I had an opportunity to volunteer at the orphanage where Delia was placed; however, due to her immense needs, she lived in a hospital crib at the local children’s hospital for the first six years of her life. My volunteering was at the hospital with visits to the local orphanage.

Delia still lives in the orphanage and is now twelve years old. Our fight continues to find a family for her.
