With the DonorSee platform closing in nearly a week, we want to be sure to find a way to remain connected with you. For privacy reasons, DonorSee does not share your email/contact info with us. We cherish the relationship we have built with you. We hope you will want to continue to learn more about the special needs children we serve at Delia's Center and families/adults requiring assistance -- all in rural, Vaslui County, Romania. (one of the poorest regions of the E.U.)

We are a U.S. 501 (c) 3 so all future donations remain tax-deductible. Our CEO, Laura Larkin, myself, and our co-founder David Conway, take no salary or other compensation. It sounds trite - but ours is a labor of love.

What's next? By following along with projects on our website and sharing your email, we can continue to share with you details of our projects to meet urgency needs. We welcome you to our newly created webpage for our DonorSee friends.

Videos and written updates to show you the amazing impact your support has on individual lives!

The video below is from David Conway, a Co-Founder of Delia's Center for Special Needs Kids. David, who lives in England, is rarely on video with us (just not his thing to make a video). David, for many years, brought medical care to Romanian orphans with cleft palates, working with a team of British doctors and nurses. His care and attention for more than 35 years have brought him the love of many, many children (some now young adults) whose lives he has changed. The ongoing support for children who are moved from foster home to foster is especially near David's heart. Sometimes, children are only informed that they will be getting a new mom the day before they are moved to a new home! Sometimes the foster mom does not want to give the child up, but social services decides it is "time." This is so difficult for them. Please join us as we start the new year by funding six months of holistic, pastoral care for girls going through this challenging time. This is our first new project on our website, and we are excited for you to see it!

When a foster child is moved to a new home, familiar routines, school connections, and trusted support often disappear overnight. This is especially scary for children with special needs and young children who may not fully understand what is happening. Each change of home brings fear and uncertainty—this project helps meet a child’s needs in those moments.
